The Bureau counted 440 homes. Today it holds about 4,000 addresses, and the Census map has been redrawn from 7 areas to 83 to keep up.

The numbers
Melonba is the fastest-moving suburb in the country against the national rate: a place that was a name on a plan at the last Census and is a suburb now.
What this means if you are buying here. Any 2021 Census figure you are shown for Melonba is describing a place that has since been carved into 83 areas and has 3,567 more addresses than it did. The suburb average is the wrong tool. The Melonba suburb report is built from today's addresses and sales, and it is the one to read before you offer.
