    Report for 1125122

    Drew Wade
    Elders Real Estate Murwillumbah

Buyer's Guide to this Murwillumbah Neighbourhood

Drew Wade is Murwillumbah born and bred and has been serving the area for 10 years.

    Wide range of dwellings

There's a mix of living options in this area.

You are looking at estates that were mostly built in the early 90’s, so you have your 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom brick homes, but quite well built.

They were building them a lot better 25-30 years ago than what you see built these days and these are all probably on their 3rd re-sale.

We've also got quite a few rented properties throughout the area.

We probably sell 4 or 5 properties on Castle Field Drive every year, so they turn over quite regularly.

There's also quite a mix of duplex living, there’s a lot of smaller 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom attached duplexes along there and then there’s 3 bedroom townhouses as well those 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms homes.

    Residents of all ages

There's definitely quite a mix of people here, from young people right through to the elderly and older families.

The homes suit a lot of elderly people because a lot them don’t have stairs.

You then see some of the more premier homes in the area on the higher sections of the estates such as in the Plateau and Tulipwood.

Well built homes are attracting investors

Quality built homes that also live up to modern living standards attract investors to this area.

There’s enough space, so the homes here have enough bedrooms and bathrooms and those sort of things, particularly over the rest of Murwillumbah which has much older homes.

So you have lower maintenance because they’re better built and they’re also generally larger than the places in town.

    High School and general amenities

You have the Wollumbin High School here, there’s a pizza shop, a cafe, a little general store, and a newsagency so you have shops within walking distance.

    New estate releases

They’ve opened up the estate here and it has expanded, so there’s several new estates that are attached to it.

You’ve got Hunters Hill estate for example that they’re currently opening up new sections of, we also have new road releases.

All up there's somewhere between 50 and a 100 blocks that have been opened up or that are about to be opened up.
