We\u2019re all about localities here at Microburbs, so we thought we would do something similar for Australia. You can see on our state by state summary, that there were no mass shootings in any state in Australia in 2015.<\/p>\n

Edgy Brisbane suburb, Fortitude Valley<\/a>, experienced no mass shootings in 2015, in line with the QLD average of 0.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>The year got off to a quiet start in January with no mass shooting fatalities, before doubling in February. This translated to a rate of 0 deaths per million Australian inhabitants.<\/p>\n

Despite continuing to enforce strict gun laws it instituted in 1996, Australia has completely failed to reduce the number of deadly shooting sprees from the 2014 peak of 0.
